19 Helen Shafran – Looking for the Lesson in Every Run

Helen Shafran on Sole Nation with Brook Kreder

Today I’m talking with Helen Shafran, who lives in Salem, OR. We met at the Portland Marathon, and she is such an inspirational lady.

Helen has run twelve marathons and is training for her thirteenth, not to mention the eleven relays (don’t worry, she’s training for her twelfth).

Listen in to hear her talk about her favorite race, her need to be outdoors, and how running has changed her perspective on life.
