27 Tricia Downing – Overcoming Injury to Inspire Disabled Athletes

Tricia Downing on Sole Nation with Brook Kreder

Today I’m so excited to be talking to Tricia Downing. Tricia has done 2 Ironman races, over 100 races total in her time as an athlete, and now competes in shooting, if you can believe that.

Her story is incredible, and she’s got to be one of the most inspirational guests I’ve had on the show. With an awesome attitude and great energy, this gal is making a huge impact on the world of athletics.

A lot of these women come to camp and they have no idea that they can play tennis or that they can go scuba diving or that they can go rock climbing, and it just opens up the doors for them.” – Tricia Downing
